Kharbooja (or muskmelon) is one of the most popular fruits we get during the summers. It is healthy, tasty and loads you up with good amount of water. Besides, it is low in calories, making the fruit ideal for daily consumption (and of course, for weight loss too!). We love having chilled, crunchy musk melon as is but did you know, you can also make yummy coolers out it?! Celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor, in his latest Instagram post, shared one such musk melon cooler recipe that includes the goodness of cucumber and lemon in it. Sounds oh-so-comforting; isn’t it? Kharbooja Cooler Recipe | How To Make Muskmelon – Cucumber Cooler:

To make this dish, you need cubed muskmelon, sugar syrup, lemon, mint leaves, ice cubes, cucumber juice, sliced cucumber and tonic water. You can use edible flower to garnish.

First, take cubed muskmelon, sugar syrup, lemon, mint leaves in a shaker. Crush them well. Then add ice cubes, close the lid and shake well. Strain in a glass.

To it, add crushed ice, cucumber juice and tonic water. Finally, garnish with sliced cucumber and edible flower (optional) and serve.

That’s it. You get a delicious restaurant-style cooler ready in no time.
